Join the 2023 Youth STEM Summit Design Team!

We’re thrilled to announce that that the Youth STEM Summit is back! The 2023 Youth STEM Summit will empower youth globally with the skills, networks and tools to take action as STEM changemakers. Taking place virtually in September 2023, it’s set to be our biggest Youth STEM Summit yet.

This year’s Youth STEM Summit will build on the success of our previous Summits, which have empowered over 700 young people based in more than 40 countries globally to start or continue their journeys as STEM researchers, innovators, leaders, social entrepreneurs and changemakers.

With our 2021 Youth STEM Summit attracting speakers including UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, Jayathma Wickramanayake, Founder of The Washing Machine Project, Navjot Sawhney, and inventor of ReThink™, Trisha Prabhu, this year’s Summit will be equally packed with changemaker stories, practical advice and access to resources and tools, to both inspire and equip young people to take action using STEM to tackle the Sustainable Development Goals.

The biggest event in Youth STEM 2030’s calendar, the 2023 Youth STEM Summit is not only for young people, but will be entirely designed by young people, and a large majority of speakers will also be youth, making this event truly for youth, by youth.

On the announcement of the 2023 Youth STEM Summit, Youth STEM 2030 Founder & CEO, Mhairi McCann, said:

The Youth STEM Summit is always such a highlight of the year, made special by the incredible young people, STEM professionals, partners and sponsors - who share a determination to create a better world through STEM - that it brings together to take action and drive change. I’m so excited that the Summit is back for 2023, and really looking forward to seeing what the 2023 Design Team creates - I have no doubt they’ll design an empowering, inclusive and impactful 2023 Youth STEM Summit!
— Mhairi McCann, Founder & CEO, Youth STEM 2030
