Celebrating International Youth Day 2020
International Youth Day is celebrated annually on 12th August and is designated by the United Nations as a day of celebration of young people’s voices, actions and initiatives, as well as the engagement of young people in decision making. With the 2020 theme being “Youth Engagement for Global Action”, what better way to celebrate than by introducing our latest group of Youth STEM Matters Volunteer Team members?!
Back in June, we opened applications for a range of roles in the Youth STEM Matters Volunteer Team, and we were delighted to receive applications from 146 youth based in 39 countries across every continent (except Antarctica!)!
After much deliberation, we’re pleased to introduce the 24 young people who have joined the Volunteer Team…
