We’re a scientific journal - and a global community of youth STEM researchers, innovators & science communicators - and believe that:
There’s no age limit on using STEM research, innovation or science communication to create a more sustainable world: that’s why we equip young people with the tools and resources to get started and to increase their impact through publishing
STEM research & innovation needs to be inclusive of and accessible to everyone: that’s why we publish all of our articles open access, and are proactive about inclusion
STEM needs the voices and solutions of young people: that’s why we give youth a platform to publish their research, ideas and innovations, advancing scientific progress for a just and sustainable future

Youth STEM Matters is led by an incredible team of 60+ young people, based in 30+ countries globally, who share a passion for empowering other youth as researchers, innovators & science communicators for a better world.
We’re also supported by our International Advisory Group - professionals in STEM, scientific publishing and SDGs who share their expertise in support of our mission.
