I’d like to spend my life chasing what brings me joy and purpose. Technology in STEM happens to be a key part of that. I’m an entrepreneur at heart but I enjoy dabbling in all of the arts, writing and being creative. In the future, I’d love to do something that combines STEM, fashion and the Sustainable Development Goals to create a better world.
How do you feel to join the Youth STEM Summit Design Team?
I feel excited at the prospect of planning and executing this global initiative and I’m grateful to have been offered the opportunity.
What are you most looking forward to about the Design Team?
I’m looking forward to continuing to collaborate with all the other brilliant minds in the Design Team and work together to create an awesome summit!
What are you hoping to bring to the Design Team?
I’m hoping to bring my entrepreneurial spirit and creative energy to the team whether it’s through sharing ideas or coming up with ways to make the summit as inclusive and diverse as it possibly can be.
Why did you decide to get involved?
The opportunity to design a summit for young people really stood out to me and I love that it gave so much priority not just to STEM but also to sustainability and solving global issues with it.
Why is young people making a difference through STEM important?
Young people are the future of this planet and since STEM is integral in every part of our lives, it’s really important that young people are given the opportunity to be the trailblazers of these developments.
What are you most excited for at the Summit itself?
I’m excited to connect with other like minded young people who are determined to make a difference through STEM and just learning loads along the way! I’m also really excited to watch all of the plans made as a Design Team come to life in the Summit!
What do you hope to achieve through the Summit?
I hope that young people leave the summit feeling empowered to challenge the status quo by using their STEM skills to spearhead change. It would be amazing to create an impact that lives on even after the summit itself.
